The program will have different products to let you find the right balance of cost and renewable electricity. Renewable electricity will be certified by purchasing and retiring Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), the accepted legal instrument used to track renewable energy generation and to substantiate claims of renewable energy use. Medfield Standard
To start, the default product plans to include 5-10% more renewable electricity from MA Class I RECs, than required by Massachusetts. Read more about Massachusetts renewable energy requirements and MA Class I RECs.
Medfield Mid
The Medfield Mid product plans to include more renewable energy (from MA Class I RECs) than required by Massachusetts, such that it is always mid-way between the State minimum and 100%. Read more about Massachusetts renewable energy requirements and MA Class I RECs.
Medfield 100

Medfield Basic
